In the summer of 2007, my husband, our two sons, our daughter, and I moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma. We truly enjoy living in South Central and feel at home here. I have always loved Burmese cats, and I believe once someone owns a Burmese, they will always want one. We have been breeding Burmese cats for sale for 12 years, and they have become an important part of our lives. Many people who visit us and meet our cats, even those who say they do not like cats, become fans of Burmese. It has been nearly 12 years since we started breeding Old Style Burmese. Many of our kittens now live in loving homes across the USA and in other countries. It is wonderful to know that these cats are cared for and cherished by people of all ages. Many owners share their stories with us, often about pets they have had for many years. Old Style Burmese cats tend to live long lives, especially when kept safe indoors. We focus on their health by providing good diets, including high-quality cat food and fresh raw meat. Our cats live in a safe environment, and we raise their kittens in our home. The kittens stay with their mothers for the first few weeks, then roam freely once they are litter trained. Burmese are playful and active, sometimes causing mischief around the house, which can be amusing and a bit frustrating.
Witnessing the joy our kittens bring to families across the country fills my heart with pride. I often say, “Once a Burmese owner, always a Burmese owner,” as the bond formed with these affectionate pets is truly special. Each litter is welcomed with excitement, and I take immense pleasure in watching them grow, play, and develop their unique personalities. Breeding Burmese kittens is not just a business for me; it’s a passion that enriches my life and the lives of everyone who welcomes one of our beloved cats into their home.
Our cattery is free of FIV and FELV, and all of our pedigreed cats have undergone genetic screening for polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and HCM. Thanks to these genetic tests, prospective owners may rest easy knowing that our pedigreed cats are resistant to certain inherited diseases. Our cats' health and well-being are very important to us, and we make sure they are in optimal condition before they are placed in loving homes.
As "Burmese experts," the duo is committed to assisting pet owners in selecting the proper toys, nutritional supplements, and grooming supplies for their Burmese cats. They are aware of how crucial it is to give reliable and correct information in order to protect this breed.

To reserve your kitten at Emory Burmese Cattery, a non-refundable deposit equal to the whole purchase price is needed. You can arrange a visit to meet and form a relationship with your new kitten after the deposit has been collected. Since declawing is detrimental to a cat's health, we strictly prohibit it and promote responsible ownership with good nail care. Furthermore, if we feel that selling to a prospective owner is not in the best interests of our kittens—whose health and happiness come first—we reserve the right to decline. We appreciate you selecting Emory Burmese Cattery and are eager to assist you in finding your new animal friend!
Get StartedA CLOSED cattery only allows people to visit when they’ve paid a deposit on a kitten. They also don’t accept other breeders’ queens to come for stud to one of their males, nor send their own queens to other breeders for stud. This means their genetic pool is smaller, because they’re only breeding with cats they own. However, these breeders usually have more stud cats than an open cattery does, to allow for outcrossing among their own breeding stock.
Our exquisite Burmese cats, the majestic kings and queens of our breeding program, boast champion bloodlines that exemplify the pinnacle of feline excellence. Each regal cat is meticulously tested for feline leukemia virus (FLV), feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), and other common diseases, including heartworm, and various genetic disorders, ensuring their health and vitality. As a result of our careful selection and unwavering commitment to quality, our enchanting felines produce exceptional offspring that inherit not only their striking beauty but also their delightful temperaments. We take immense pride in nurturing these graceful companions, contributing to the illustrious legacy of the Burmese breed.
